One of our favorite things to do in the spring and summer is venture to one of our local farmers markets. My sons get a big kick out of looking at all of the different booths, getting an up close view of new foods, and, of course, sampling a few yummy treats. If they’re lucky, we’ll run into a popcorn or ice cream vendor who will convince me we need to have more than just a taste! Not only is shopping at a farmers market fun, but it gives you a chance to try new things and support local farmers. Did I miss one of your favorites? Let me know and we’ll add it to the list!
